Select the right sensor ype

It is crucial to choose a sensor that actually measures CO₂. (Note! CO₂ is not the same as CO.) We recommend an NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) CO₂ sensor for accurate measurements.

Fixed or portable

Depending on your preference for a plug-in or battery-powered solution, we offer both fixed and portable CO₂ meters. A fixed model is ideal if you're looking for a permanent and stable monitoring solution in rooms with easy access to a power outlet. For those who value flexibility and mobility, a portable CO₂ meter is the perfect choice. It runs on batteries and can easily be moved from one location to another.

Measurement range and accuracy

For optimal performance, we recommend a measurement range of at least 2,000 ppm, preferably up to 5,000 ppm. Make sure your meter has an accuracy better than 10% at 2,000 ppm CO₂.

Calibration options

At Tempro, you can choose between CO2 meters with or without calibration options. Calibration is a key factor for long-term accuracy and reliability. Meters without this feature risk becoming unusable if deviations occur. For meters with automatic calibration, such as those using ABC Logic, it is essential that they are regularly exposed to fresh air. This prevents the device from registering lower CO2 values than are actually present. Choosing a meter with a calibration option ensures continuous accuracy and reliability in your measurements.
