Our story

From parental home to

office on the little island


Tempro is more than a company. It is a family story that began with a passion for technology, reliability, and entrepreneurship.

The story started with Chris Verdoodt, who founded Tempro out of his interest in measuring equipment and monitoring solutions. With a clear vision – to help companies with reliable measuring solutions – he started small, but with great ambition.

The first years were typical of a family business: hard work, improvisation, and building together. Our parental home quickly became the beating heart of Tempro. Boxes of products were everywhere: in the living room, in the hallways, and even in the bedrooms. Orders were taken to the post office daily by our mother, who played an important role in the early stages of the company.

When Jonas also joined the story to help with the growing logistics and operations of the company, Tempro truly became a family project.

Not long after, Anke also joined the company to further develop sales and marketing. With new ideas and a fresh perspective, she helped Tempro grow and strengthen the brand's presence.

A new chapter

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Tempro.

Anke has since taken over the leadership of the company and is building on the foundations laid by her father. With respect for the past and a clear vision for the future, she aims to further develop Tempro as anindependent specialist in monitoring solutions..

The core of Tempro remains the same:

From living room to office on the Eilandje.

With the growth of the company, the parental home eventually became too small. The storage and logistics were no longer sustainable, and it was time for the next step.

Today, Tempro is located atthe Eilandje in Antwerp, overlooking the MAS. From this office, we work daily on the further growth of Tempro and support customers in various sectors with data loggers, CO₂ monitoring, and real-time monitoring solutions.

What once started with taking packages to the post office has now grown into a company where carriers come to pick up orders daily.

And like in any good family business, there is also a mascot.

Our labradoodle Lou is the officialChief Happiness Officerof the office. With his enthusiasm, he brings a smile to everyone who visits.
