The logger is equipped with an external, waterproof probe that makes it possible to measure temperature at points where the sensor cannot be placed directly. The probe is available in two variants: standard or designed for food contact, in the form of a sharpened spike.

Efento NB-IoT sensors transmit data over the mobile network (Narrowband IoT) and require no additional devices (router, gateway, etc.). Sensors are also equipped with a Bluetooth Low Energy interface, allowing quick and easy configuration with a smartphone. Efento NB-IoT sensors can be integrated with any cloud platform.

  • Temperature: -55 to +125°C
  • Accuracy: up to 0.5°C in the range of -10°C to +85°C and up to 2°C in the range of -55 to -125°C
  • Sensor is equipped with a 1 meter long external probe
  • (Replaceable) battery provides up to 5 years of maintenance-free operation
  • NB-IoT sensors send data over the mobile network to Efento Cloud or any other cloud platform.
  • Measuring period: 1 minute – 10 days (user-configurable)
  • User-configurable alarm thresholds. If one of the thresholds is exceeded, the sensor immediately sends the data to the platform
  • The device stores 40,000 readings in its memory; when the memory is full, the oldest readings are overwritten
The sensor's configuration can be changed remotely from the cloud or with a mobile app via Bluetooth Low Energy

For a working system you will need:

  • NB-IoT Cloud license, available for a period of 2 or 5 years per sensor. This license covers the cloud registration costs per sensor for online use of NB-IoT sensors. Also enjoy free email notifications and push messages.
  • Use of the NB-IoT SIM card and data per sensor for 2 or 5 years. For online use of NB-IoT sensors with 25MB/2 years or 60MB/5 years.

What can you optionally purchase additionally

  • SMS messages and voice calls are not included and are billed separately.
