The LogTag LT5GEO-E-S is a single-use, mobile data logger for real-time transport and cold chain monitoring. It combines five built-in sensors — location (GPS), temperature via external probe, humidity, shock, and light exposure — with 4G/5G connectivity and automatic upload to the LogTag Online cloud. After use, the logger is not returned: ideal for shipments to customers or destinations where returning it is not practical or desired.

What is this logger suitable for?

The LT5GEO-E-S is particularly well suited for one-time shipments of temperature-sensitive goods where you do not want or cannot get the logger back, such as:

What is the difference with the LT5GEO-E-M?

The LT5GEO-E-S and LT5GEO-E-M are technically identical and offer the same five sensors, the same connectivity, and the same cloud integration. The only difference is the usage model:

Choose the -E-S if the logger stays with the recipient. Choose the -E-M if you want to reuse the logger after each shipment.

Key features

5 sensors in one device The logger simultaneously measures location (GPS), temperature (via external probe), humidity, shocks, and light exposure. This gives you a complete picture of all the conditions your shipment was exposed to — from departure to arrival.

Real-time alerts via SMS, email, or WhatsApp As soon as a measured value falls outside the set threshold values, you immediately receive a notification via phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You don't have to wait for the shipment to arrive to identify problems.

4G/5G connectivity with 2G fallback Data is continuously uploaded via the mobile network, with automatic fallback to 2G for maximum coverage, even in remote areas or countries with limited infrastructure.

Automatic flight mode The LT5GEO-E-S automatically detects when it is on an aircraft and switches off the transmission module, while continuing to store all sensor data. After landing, the data is synchronized immediately. No manual setting required, no data loss.

External probe for accurate measurement The -E version is equipped with a connection for an external temperature probe, ideal for applications where the sensor needs to be at a specific point in the cargo, such as in a glycol buffer or directly on the product.

Internal memory and cloud storage The logger stores up to 16,320 measurements in internal memory. Via LogTag Online, the storage capacity is expanded to 1 million measurements, with automatically generated reports included.

Complies with international standards The LT5GEO-E-S is certified to FCC, CE, DO-160H, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, making it suitable for use in regulated sectors such as pharma and the food industry.

Via LogTag Online you can track the status of your shipment in real time via any web browser or the LogTag Mobile App. Alarm profiles, notification settings, and reports are managed centrally. Measurement reports are generated automatically and remain available in the cloud for up to 10 years.
