Do you want to quickly and effortlessly enable or disable your AiroSensor’s alarm functions? With the SwitchHolder, you do this with one simple sliding motion, without logging into the platform or having to adjust any settings.

The SenseAnywhere SwitchHolder is an accessory for the AiroSensor that lets you enable or disable a sensor’s programmed alarm functions with a single sliding motion. Place the AiroSensor in the SwitchHolder and slide it to the desired position to turn the alarms on or off.

This makes the SwitchHolder ideal for environments with cooling systems that are not permanently active but are switched off periodically, for example at night or on weekends. This way you avoid unnecessary alarm notifications when a cooling system is deliberately paused for a while.

Important: sliding the SwitchHolder only enables or disables the alarm functions. Data logging always continues regardless, so you never miss any data, even if you forget to turn the alarms back on.

How does it work?

The SwitchHolder contains a magnet, and the AiroSensor has a magnetic contact. Depending on the position of the sensor in the holder, the magnet opens or closes this contact, generating a Dock/Undock event. Based on this, the SenseAnywhere Cloud software automatically enables or disables the sensor’s alarm functions.

To activate this: in SAClient, go to Management > Sensor, select the AiroSensor you want to use the SwitchHolder with, click Edit, tick the SwitchHolder option and click Save.

Note: mounting on metal surfaces, reinforced concrete or in metal racks/cabinets is not recommended, as this can affect the magnetic operation.
